Christine Woollacott
Christine Woollacott of Turritella Designs produces jewellery in her small studio in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Multiples of the designs are created using handmade molds, and many of the cloisonné pieces are one-of-a-kind. Christine works mainly with fine silver and Thompson unleaded glass enamel. Transparent coloured glass enamel powder is fused to the metal at temperatures of over 1500 ⁰ Fahrenheit, to make colourful, luminous jewellery.
Very exciting news! I will be teaching a number of classes at the 2016 Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee! The class information will be officially released on December 15th, 2015, and class registration will begin on January 5th, 2016.
I’m very excited about this, and I hope I’ll be able to see some of you in Milwaukee next summer!
